Gum Grafting Micro-Plastic Surgery Procedure Process

Before the gum graft, we clean any plaque and tarter build-up around the root, gum and tooth. Traditionally after the area is prepped a small piece of gum known as a gum graft is often taken from the pallet attached to the exposed area. While the traditional methods were effective, the cosmetic result does not match that of our preferred micro-plastic surgery method. Since we follow plastic surgery principles the cosmetic result is superior. Most patients won’t have a scare, and the recovery is short with minimal discomfort.
