Designing Smiles with Cutting-Edge Technology

1

Intraoral Camera

Intraoral cameras provide a magnified view of the inside of your mouth, enabling us to detect areas of decay, cracks, fractures, and other intra-oral issues with precision. This safe and effective tool is suitable for patients of all ages and allows us to conveniently share our findings and treatment recommendations with you. At Aria Dental Implants & Perio, we utilize intraoral cameras daily to enhance diagnostics and improve communication with our patients.

2

Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) Scanner

A CBCT scan is a specialized X-ray that provides detailed information about your oral and facial health. It allows us to visualize nerve pathways, soft tissue, and bone, enabling more effective and precise treatment planning. Typically performed before oral surgery or in emergency cases, the scan is quick, providing highly detailed images with minimal radiation exposure for most patients.

3

Digital X-Rays

Digital X-Rays offer a safer alternative to traditional X-Rays, significantly reducing radiation exposure by 90%. By utilizing a sensor or scanner, these X-Rays provide instant images that allow dentists to visualize hidden areas, identify dental issues, and ensure prompt treatment. They enable comprehensive examinations, including monitoring tooth development, detecting decay, and identifying potential infections, promoting proactive dental care for our patients. We use three different types of X-rays to adhere to each patient’s unique dental needs: Bite-wing X-rays, Periapical X-rays, and Panoramic X-rays.

4

Digital Scanning

Digital scanning, also known as 3D intraoral scanning, utilizes advanced technology to capture precise images and impressions of the mouth. Using a wand-shaped tool and computer-aided software, digital scanning creates virtual representations of the teeth and surrounding tissues with exceptional accuracy. This technology allows for immediate digital impressions, aiding in the efficient production of dental appliances such as crowns, retainers, dentures, and bridges, while also assisting in identifying teeth alignment issues and facilitating orthodontic corrections.

5

3D Printing

3D printing revolutionizes patient treatment by enabling the creation of surgical guides for enhanced treatment planning. Utilizing digital or impression renderings, 3D printing produces tangible models of teeth and mouths, facilitating precise treatment analysis. This technology is particularly beneficial for oral surgery, allowing for optimal implant placement and bone grafting procedures through realistic and detailed renderings.
